Wisdom words from a 3 year old...

The other day my three year old and myself was sitting out by our makeshift fire/camp site, just talking, swinging, etc. Then, out of the blue, he pointed at a couple of pieces of wood lying nearby, and said, dad I know why I'm not allowed to pick up that wood over there, I said you do. Why's that? He said because there's fire ants under there! I said absolutely right, and they may bite you! And then it was stated, the wisdom that can only come from a 3 year old, I think. He looked at me as seriously as a 3 year old can look...with his big serious brown eyes and said, yeah, and if they bite you you'll catch on fire, and if you don't like god you'll go to Hell!!!! I was floored to say the least, and thought to myself he's right(not about fire ant catching you on fire) about if you don't accept Jesus Christ your fate is determined. Now if that's not wisdom I don't know what is. In Christ Jesus...

My Son of 13 years and His Son for Eternity

I received a phone call late last night (6/7/06) from the above mentioned 13 year old ( to protect his true identity we'll call him Mikey). He stated that he was the bearer of some great news. He received Christ on 6/6/06. So for all you superstitious folks this goes to show that what the devil means for harm God can use for His glory. Mike and Briana are both at camp they have been attending different Bible teaching three times a day for the last 4 days. The night of the seventh they were to received the Lord's supper and Mike and Briana called to confess and ask for forgiveness for some things before they accepted it. We are needless to say extremely happy to know we will be spending eternity with our oldest two blessings.
